Do you provide virtual sessions?
Counselling sessions are provided in-person, by telephone or virtually. This arrangement will be confirmed when a session is being booked.
How long are counselling sessions?
A total of 60 minutes is set aside for counselling sessions. If prearranged, sessions can extend in 15 minute increments to a total of 120 minutes.
Are your services confidential?
Counselling is confidential with some exceptions, the details of which are set out on intake forms that you will need to complete to start counselling.
My separation/divorce services have varying degrees of confidentiality, which will be fully explained to you at the initial stage of the service.
What is the cost of your service?
Couples and family counselling by phone, virtual or in-person:
$190.00 per session.
My hourly rate for separation/divorce services varies. Please contact me for further information.
Does my insurance cover your service?
Most insurance plans provide coverage for counselling that is provided by a registered social worker (MSW, RSW), but it is best to confirm directly with your insurance provider.
What is your cancellation policy?
For counselling services, a cancellation notice should be provided by email as follows:
a) sessions scheduled from Tuesday to Friday - at least 24 hours in advance; and
b) sessions scheduled on a Monday - by 9:00 am the previous Friday.
Further cancellation details will be provided to you on intake forms that you will need to complete before counselling begins.
For separation and divorce services, cancellation details will be provided to you ahead of the commencement of the service.
